Chris brings a very diverse background to his practice.  A native of Cincinnati,
Ohio, Chris received both a Bachelor's Degree (
cum laude) and Master's
Degree in Civil Engineering from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio.  He served
as a Civil Engineering Officer on active duty in the United States Air Force for
four years specializing in engineering design and construction management.
He also served as a speechwriter for Lieutenant General Robert F. Raggio for
14 months.

Chris left active duty to attend law school: first at the University of Dayton and
later the University of Kentucky where he graduated in 2003.  While in law
school, Chris was a staff writer for the University of Kentucky Journal of Natural
Resources and Environmental Law and served on the Moot Court Board.

Chris has extensive experience in the legal field.  Prior to opening his own
practice, he worked as a clerk for the Honorable Thomas G. Grady of the
Second District Court of Appeals.  He was one of only two candidates
competitively selected for an internship with the Honorable Walter H. Rice of
the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.  He has also held
employment with the Hamilton County Prosecutor's Office in Cincinnati, Ohio
and the Legal Department of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government
in Lexington, Kentucky.  Chris is also a part-time instructor in the Sinclair
Community College Paralegal Department.

Chris continues to serve as an assistant Judge Advocate General (JAG) in the
United States Air Force Reserves.  As a JAG, he provides legal assistance to
military personnel on all forms of civil matters and serves as co-counsel in
courts martial.  Chris returned to active duty briefly in 2002 and again 2003 in
support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom.  Chris
currently holds the rank of
Major.

Chris volunteers his time as a member of the Kettering Sister Cities Committee
helping the city form ties to its sister cities in Styer, Austria and Kettering,
England.  He has volunteered his time and skills to charitable  organizations
such as the Red Cross, the Society for the Improvement of the Conditions for
Stray Animals (SICSA), the Ohio High School Mock Trial Competition, and as a
member of the steering committee for the Wittenberg University Mock Trial
Team.

In his free time, Chris enjoys traveling, reading, running and cooking.
